What connects the soldiers’ gambling with Psalm 22?
Not yet rankedPublished answer
Psalm 22:18 describes garments divided and lots cast for clothing. John 19:23–24 explicitly relates the soldiers’ actions to that Scripture. This is a stronger connection than a resemblance supplied only by a modern interpreter.
