Millennial Psalms

Modern songs become emotional doorways into the Scriptural pattern—not claims about what their artists intended.

Enter through a song.

Each psalm opens an emotional doorway into one part of the larger story. Read the interpretation, follow its Scripture and documented reasoning, and distinguish the conclusion from its suppositions and exploration notes.

Every song can speak before it becomes a film.

  1. 01
    Written interpretation + homework

Every published conclusion must open into its Scripture, reasoning, identified suppositions, and questions for examination.

  2. 02
    Conversation

Let readers explore the meaning, ask questions, and reveal which ideas need greater clarity.

  3. 03
    Film candidate

Select the songs whose timing, scenery, and emotional movement can carry a visual chapter.

  4. 04
    Movie development

Decide whether the film remains original commentary or uses protected music or lyrics that require permission.

The commentary is our work. The song remains theirs.

Millennial Psalms examines published songs through criticism, comment, scholarship, and original theological interpretation. We can discuss a song, paraphrase its ideas, and quote only the portions reasonably needed to make a specific point. Fair use is fact-specific, however; calling something commentary does not automatically make every use fair.

A separate review begins when a proposed movie would reproduce the commercial recording, display extensive or complete lyrics, or synchronize the music to our imagery. Those uses may involve rights in both the musical composition and the particular sound recording. When permission is needed, we will seek it before public release. A song’s inclusion never implies that its artist intended or endorses our interpretation.
